Halo® Pro Laser
in Bozeman

A high-end laser treatment that simultaneously delivers two different types of laser energy to target surface sun damage while deeply stimulating collagen for long-term skin health.

The Halo® Glow.
Maximum Results with Minimal Downtime.

For our patients in Bozeman who want the dramatic results of a resurfacing laser but can’t afford weeks of hiding at home, the Halo® Pro is the ultimate solution. Known for the “Halo Glow,” this laser addresses years of sun damage, large pores, and fine lines in a single session. At SkinCare MT, we use Halo® to restore the reflective, youthful quality of your skin, giving you a “filtered” look that shines through even without makeup.

Solving the “Downtime” Dilemma

In the past, you had to choose between a “gentle” laser with minimal results or an “aggressive” laser with long recovery times. Halo® solves this by being the world’s first Hybrid Fractional Laser. It targets the surface (epidermis) and the deep layers (dermis) at the exact same time, allowing us to fix deep structural issues while ensuring the surface of your skin heals remarkably fast.

Hybrid Laser Resurfacing at SkinCare MT

We utilize the Halo® Pro (ICD-10: L57.8) for high-level rejuvenation under the strict clinical guidance of our expert providers.

How the Treatment Works

Halo® works through Dual-Wavelength Technology. It simultaneously delivers a non-ablative wavelength (1470nm) to target deep sun damage and a fractional ablative wavelength (2940nm) to resurface the outer layer of skin. This “synergistic” effect triggers a total skin “re-boot.” Your body sheds the damaged outer layer while building a new collagen foundation, resulting in a significant improvement in texture, tone, and that unmistakable “Halo” luminosity.

PATIENT QUESTIONS

Halo® Pro Laser FAQ

Clinical answers from our board-certified dermatologists.

What makes Halo different from other lasers?

Traditionally, lasers are either Ablative (removes the top layer of skin for big results but long downtime) or Non-Ablative (drills tiny holes to stimulate collagen with less downtime).

Halo is a Hybrid: it uses both wavelengths at the same time. This gives you the dramatic results of an ablative laser with the much shorter recovery time of a non-ablative one.

What does it actually treat?
  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Sun damage and “age spots”

  • Enlarged pores

  • Uneven skin tone and “muddiness”

  • Actinic Keratoses (pre-cancerous skin lesions)

How long is the downtime?

This is the “Halo Glow” timeline:

  • Days 1–2:
Redness and some swelling (looks like a sunburn).
  • Days 3–4:
    Your skin will develop
    MENDS
(Microscopic Epidermal Necrotic Debris). These look like tiny brown coffee grounds on your skin.
  • Day 5+:
The MENDS flake off, revealing fresh, glowing skin.
When will I see results?

You’ll see an initial “glow” after the skin peels (around day 7), but the real magic happens over the next 2 to 3 months
as your body produces new collagen.
