Dermal Fillers Volume Restoration
with Natural Balance
Dermal fillers restore youthful volume, enhance facial contours, and soften lines — all while maintaining natural expression and facial harmony.
At SkincareMT, we use advanced hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, including Restylane®, Juvéderm®, and the RHA® Collection, to deliver subtle, customized rejuvenation tailored to your anatomy and aesthetic goals.
Supporting the Dermal Foundation
Facial aging is largely a story of volume loss. As we get older, the deep fat pads in our face begin to shift and the underlying bone structure naturally recedes. This lack of support causes the skin to drape differently, leading to “shadows” and folds. Fillers act as a customized internal scaffold, providing the lift and structure that your skin can no longer maintain on its own.
Anatomical Artistry at SkinCare MT
Our providers utilize a diverse portfolio of fillers (ICD-10: Z41.1) to match the specific “bounce” and density of your natural tissue.
How the Treatment Works
Hyaluronic acid (a naturally occurring substance in the body) is used to replace volume in areas of deficiency:
- Restore lost volume in cheeks and temples
- Enhance and define lips
- Soften nasolabial folds and marionette lines
- Refine jawline and chin contour
- Improve under-eye hollowing
- Immediate results with minimal downtime
Dermal fillers are primarily made of Hyaluronic Acid, a sugar molecule naturally found in your skin that holds 1,000 times its weight in water. When injected, the gel provides immediate volume and “lift.” Beyond the instant result, these fillers act as a hydrophilic matrix, drawing moisture into the area and stimulating your body’s own collagen production for a result that looks soft, moves naturally, and lasts for months.

-
Juvéderm®: The Gold Standard for Hydration & Volume
Known for its high "hydrophilic" nature (it loves to pull in water). This makes it the superior choice for a lush, hydrated look.
-
Restylane®: The Architect of Precision
Restylane offers more "G-Prime" (firmness). It is less fluid than Juvéderm, meaning it stays exactly where the injector places it.
-
RHA® Collection: The Resilient Innovation
This is the first filler designed to mimic the natural HA found in your skin. It is "cleaner" (less cross-linked), allowing the gel to stretch and recoil with your facial expressions.

PATIENT QUESTIONS
Dermal Fillers FAQ
Clinical answers from our board-certified dermatologists.
Most modern fillers, such as Juvéderm® and Restylane®, are composed of Hyaluronic Acid (HA). HA is a naturally occurring polysaccharide found in the human body that binds to water molecules to maintain volume and hydration. By using a bio-identical, cross-linked gel, we can restore structural support to the dermis that has been lost due to the natural degradation of collagen and subcutaneous fat.
Yes, they address two entirely different biological issues. Botox® (Neuromodulators) targets the muscles to stop the skin from folding and creating “dynamic” wrinkles. Dermal Fillers target the volume loss itself, filling in “static” folds and hollows. Often, a “Global Rejuvenation” plan involves using both to address both movement and structure.
At SkinCare MT, our philosophy is Anatomical Restoration, not transformation. The “overfilled” look usually occurs when a provider ignores the patient’s underlying bone structure. Our board-certified injectors prioritize the “Golden Ratio” of facial proportions, placing filler in the deep medial fat pads to lift the face naturally rather than simply inflating the skin.
Longevity depends on the “rheology” (thickness) of the filler and the metabolic rate of the area treated. Fillers in highly mobile areas like the lips may last 6–9 months, while structural fillers used in the cheeks or jawline can last 12–24 months. Because HA fillers are metabolized by your body’s natural enzymes, the results gradually and safely fade over time.
One of the primary reasons we utilize Hyaluronic Acid fillers is that they are fully reversible. We maintain a clinical supply of Hyaluronidase, an enzyme that can be injected to instantly dissolve the filler if a correction is needed or in the rare event of a vascular complication. This provides a safety net that permanent fillers or implants cannot offer.
We utilize a multi-step approach to patient comfort. This includes high-potency topical numbing agents and fillers that are pre-formulated with Lidocaine (a local anesthetic). Additionally, we often use a micro-cannula technique—a blunt-tipped tool that glides under the skin—which significantly reduces discomfort, swelling, and the risk of bruising compared to traditional needles.
Most patients return to normal activities immediately. However, because we are navigating a highly vascular environment, minor swelling or bruising can occur. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and heat exposure for 24–48 hours post-injection to allow the filler to integrate properly with your natural tissue.
