How Treatment Works
Neuromodulators function via competitive inhibition of acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction. You’ll start to see a “softening” of lines fairly quickly. Daxxify often kicks in within 1–2 days, while Botox usually takes 3–5 days. For both treatments, you should wait a full 10–14 days to see the final, peak results.
At SkinCare MT, our philosophy is “natural-looking refreshment.” Looking frozen is usually the result of too much product or poor placement, not the product itself. Our expert injectors target specific muscles so you can still smile, frown, and look like yourself—just smoother.

The most common side effects are very mild, such as slight redness, swelling, or a small bruise at the injection site that fades in a day or two. Some patients experience a temporary “tightness” or a mild headache immediately following the treatment.
To minimize the risk of bruising, we recommend avoiding alcohol for 24 hours and staying away from blood thinners like aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil supplements for 3–5 days before your visit (unless prescribed by your doctor).
There is zero downtime! You can return to work or your daily routine immediately. We just ask that you stay upright for 4 hours and skip the gym for 24 hours to let the product settle perfectly.

BOTOX® Cosmetic works beneath the surface and temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines in adults – to help them look visibly smoother.
Dysport® temporarily treats moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows by reducing specific muscle activity. Wrinkles are caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions. One injection into each of the five points between and above the eyebrows temporarily prevents muscle contractions that cause frown lines.
Daxxify is a newer FDA-approved injectable neuromodulator (botulinum toxin type A) used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines—especially the “11s” between the eyebrows. It works by blocking nerve signals to targeted muscles, relaxing them to smooth expression wrinkles.
