Fellowship Trained Mohs and Reconstructive Surgeon
Dr. Bruce is a board certified dermatologist and skin cancer expert. He is one of only a few fellowship-trained surgical experts in the state of Montana, focusing on the treatment of all types of skin cancers including the utilization of Mohs micrographic surgery. This extensive training also provides a depth of experience in advanced reconstructive techniques after Mohs surgery. Dr. Bruce has performed over 12,000 Mohs surgical procedures since 2009.
In addition to publishing several articles in a variety of medical journals, Dr. Bruce has lectured both locally and at national academic conferences. A magna cum laude graduate of Arizona State University, Dr. Bruce was an Arizona State Regent Merit Scholar and a recipient of a National Science Foundation research grant focusing on evolutionary biology. He also received multiple National Health Service Corps scholarships to serve in-need areas such as Ft. Yukon, Alaska.
Dr. Bruce grew up in Flint, MI, Dallas, TX, and Phoenix, AZ. A love of the mountains from an early age drew him to the Rockies. Nearly every weekend, you can find Dr. Bruce hiking, biking, and skiing with his wife and three children.
