Julie Henningsen joined our clinic in June of 2014. She has been a resident of Southwest Montana since 2003, working in both emergency medicine and urgent care prior to training in dermatology. Currently, Julie specializes in general dermatology.
She is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Washington, and received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. She was the recipient of the Physician Assistant Studies Program Departmental Award during her PA training. Julie enjoys working closely with the physicians at Montana Skin Cancer and Dermatology Center, providing a patient-focused approach to comprehensive dermatologic care.
Julie is originally from Seattle, Washington. She is proud to call Montana home after spending over a decade leading international leadership courses, and serving as a lead instructor for the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS. Along with her husband and two children, Julie recently returned to Bozeman after several years of living on a sheep ranch in the neighboring Jefferson River Valley.
