Julie Henningsen has been with our clinic since June of 2014, specializing in general dermatology. She worked in both emergency medicine and urgent care prior to training in dermatology. She is a graduate of the University of Washington, and received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. She was the recipient of the Physician Assistant Studies Program Departmental Award while at Rocky Mountain College. Julie enjoys working closely with the team at SkinCare MT, providing a patient-focused approach to comprehensive dermatologic care (including skin cancer screenings and treatment, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other medical dermatologic conditions). Julie is proud to call Montana home after spending over a decade leading international outdoor leadership courses. Her 20+ years in Montana also include many winters on skis as a professional ski patroller, sheep ranching in the neighboring Jefferson River Valley with her husband and two kids, and teaching wilderness medicine courses as a lead instructor for the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS.
